I recently read one contributor telling of her experience with a novelty spanking paddle that read ‘For The Cute Little Deer With The Bear Behind’, and I too have a story to tell with that paddle as it was used to punish me when I was a naughty girl.

I was born and raised in a small town in southern California. In 1967, when I was 15 years old, I was accepted to a prestigious conservatory of music in San Francisco to study piano and violin. I had an aunt and uncle who lived in the city and were willing to let me move in with them while I finished high school and pursued my music studies. I was told by my parents that I was to follow the rules of the house, and always be home by my curfew.

It wasn’t long before I was having a little too much fun in my new city and stayed out past my curfew. After my third breaking of curfew, my aunt and uncle told me that I would have to be punished. She brought me to the living room and told me to take off my skirt, and a minute later my uncle came in the room with the ‘Cute Little Deer’ paddle that they used to discipline their two young children. My aunt then had me lean over the arm of the sofa so the front of my body was almost lying on the sofa and my bottom raised up in the air. Despite my begging her to leave them up, my aunt pulled down my panties below my bottom. My uncle then walked over and said that he was sorry he had to do this and proceeded to lecture me on obeying the rules. He placed one hand on my back and then proceeded to spank me with that paddle. There is nothing more humiliating than being spanked with that novelty paddle on your bare bottom as a teenager! The only thing worse than the embarrassment was the pain. I still remember how much it stung and how it felt like my bottom was on fire and how I was crying and kicking like a little girl.

I never broke curfew again! I know the value of spanking as punishment is not hotly debated, but when I was growing up nothing helped keep a naughty girl like me on the straight and narrow like a bare bottom spanking! I wish I could say that was my only experience with that paddle, but I did unfortunately need another correction about a year later.
